Estimate/Quote/Purchase/Pay

Another vital part of construction (i say that a lot) because they all are is Estimation, it can make or break the profitability of your work. It is so important to have a clear and concise understanding of exactly what you have allowed for. This information needs to be easily accessible and then easily transferred into orders to minimise duplication and error, then relayed to suppliers and sub contractors .

Once you have created a purchase or work order you then need to manage materials or works to meet the job schedule and then link your orders to Accounts Payable for approval, phew exhausted yet? You will be if there isn't enough detail. Your point of power is at estimating and purchasing, not payment, by then it's too late, the money has left the building!

Can you transfer estimates into orders? Are these figures easy to check against as your budget? Can you easily keep track of your current orders?
