It's not so much that council applications are difficult if you understand what is required, (okay, admittedly some can be painstaking). It's mostly about keeping track of paperwork and knowing which forms to send in each situation. Then it's keeping track of what you are waiting for and sometimes chasing up the council, engineers, energy efficiency consultants, BSA etc. Council requirements are different in each state, so you need to be aware of all the documents required and ensure you have a step by step process with easily accessible forms and guidelines.
